As you can see from the pictures here, there were two 
flavors of this amp out there, the Silvertone branded model and one with a 
Harmony brand. Danelectro wasn't fully on the scene yet, and Lectrolab was probably more than happy to 
job these amps out to the biggest department store and catalog sales institution 
in the world at the time. 
As was common for many 
Sears-offered products, the Silvertone brand was applied to another 
manufacturers' product. This was true of literally thousands of 
products from 1916-1972. 


There was also a model 1303 listed in the years 1948 and '49. 
The main difference between the 1300 and the 1303 was the addition of 'built-in 
vibrato.'  According to catalog illustrations, it was actually labeled 
vibrato, rather than tremolo, which is a more accurate description of the 
effect. This 'organ-like' effect didn't come without a price; the 1303 was $20 
more than the 1300, coming in at $85.50
