The 1306 is a mystery amp. For a while I was not even
sure that this was the actual number of the amplifier. I'd only seen limited
pictures of one example of the amp, and there were no definitive markings or
labels present to make a positive ID. Recently, however, I've been able to match
photos of the inside of the amp to the schematic,
confirming that this rare amp is indeed, the 1306, offered in the 1313 steel
guitar and the 1323 electrified archtop combo package in Fall/Winter 1946.
