The 2323 was offered at the same time as the 2312, the 'Artist' and the Crest' in 1941. Another Valco-made amp seen still paired with its companion steel guitar in both examples presented here, which you could tuck away inside the amp case on its own shelf. Amp-in-the-case 20 years ahead of Dano's model!

Information on most of these very early amps is scarce, sometimes the best we can do is find a similar National/Valco to compare it to.

There was no model number visible in the few pictures I have, but the catalog listing clearly denotes 12K02323 for the set.
