The 1384/5/1427 was
made by our friends at Harmony, and closely related to the Espanada. The earliest catalog listings spec'd
an aluminum binding, and I've only seen two Silvertone 1384 models with the
metal binding, although I've seen several Harmony Espanadas
with the so-called 'Harmometal' binding. The 'Chris Isaak' 1446
inherited its rock and roll credentials from this guitar.
